July 4th Movie Series – by Ben Coccio, Chris Coccio & David Shuff For the past 10 years Professor Bright Films has journeyed to the lake house on July 4th to blow the hell out of countless tanks, robots, giant battleships, airplanes, submarines, fortresses, catapults, underwater dome cities, upper-middle class homes, clay guys and other brilliant creations. They've turned out four films over the years, each time pushing the excitement and drama to greater heights. July 4th — Episode One – DV – 12 min
Shot in 1998 and edited by Dave with two VCRs, this was the very first July 4th movie. Although primitive, it still has charm, and foreshadows amazing things to come. July 4th — Episode Two – DV – 11 min
Shot in 1999 and edited digitally for the first time, this episode represents a dramatic leap forward in July 4th moviemaking. July 4th — Episode Three – DV – 17 min
Comprised of footage from 2000-2003, with this episode Ben picked up the editing torch and carried the tradition to dizzying new heights. July 4th — Episode Four – DV – 18 min
With the 2004-2005 footage Dave returns to the editing helm. We see Chris and Ben push the artistic envelope yet again with their stunning creations in this, the latest of the July 4th films.
