About Professor Bright Films
Ben Coccio and Dave Shuff had been making movies together for over 10 years before founding their New York City area production company Professor Bright Films; which was originally focused in concept videos for toy inventors. Known for kinetic energy, visual impact, and sharp humor, their varied works have won numerous film festival awards, aired on television, and secured worldwide DVD distribution. Professor Bright Films has also created dynamic corporate videos for clients such as MTV, Nike, IBM, and Mattel.

Ben Coccio
Ben Coccio has been making short films and videos since age twelve. He studied film at the Rhode Island School of Design, and has produced work for MTV, Nike, IBM, The Discovery Channel, PBS and Mattel. His 35-mm short 5:45 am was picked up by the Independent Film Channel, and is feature Zero Day was picked up for American distruibution by Avatar Films and Homevision Entertainment. Coccio was named by Filmmaker Magazine as one of the twenty-five new faces of independent film.

David Shuff
David Shuff received a BFA in film production from SUNY Purchase and his films have since screened in over forty international festivals; notably Alone at Last in the Tribeca Film Festival, and Pocket Watch airing on PBS stations nationwide. Professionally he has served as a staff director at the acclaimed NYC agency R/GA, where he has created spots for clients such as Nike, IBM, Bank of America, Avaya, and Purina.
